KS Energy gets 17 million deal in Tunisia

Singapore’s KS Energy is to supply and operate the Discoverer 4 land rig in a US $17m deal with an unnamed customer in Tunisia.

This is the second deal in a month for KS in Tunisia. The 2,000-horsepower land rig, which KS acquired recently for $28m, has an initial contract for one year, plus two six-month extension options, which could take the deal to $30m.

The Discoverer 4 is being prepared for mobilisa¬tion from the USA to Tunisia.
